How do I create a group?

Tap the "+" button on the Groups tab, enter a group name and currency, then tap Create. You can then invite members by sharing the invite link.

How do I add an expense?

Open a group, tap "Add Expense", enter the amount, description, who paid, and how to split. The app will automatically calculate everyone's share.

How does debt simplification work?

Our algorithm minimizes the number of transactions needed to settle all debts. Instead of everyone paying each other, it finds the most efficient way to settle up.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes! You can add expenses without an internet connection. They will sync automatically when you're back online.

How do I export my data?

Go to any group, tap the menu icon, then select "Export". You can download your expenses as CSV or JSON format.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → scroll to the bottom → tap "Delete Account". This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Is my data secure?

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

Is SplitGenius really free?

Yes! All features are completely free with no daily limits, no ads, and no premium tiers. We believe expense splitting should be accessible to everyone.
